About me
I am David Samuel Goldsmith Jr., a husband, father, Realtor, and lifelong advocate for working families and underserved communities. My journey begins with the values instilled by my parents: my father, a proud U.S. Air Force veteran who served for 30 years, and my mother, who dedicated over two decades as a municipal employee in Philadelphia. Their example of sacrifice and service shaped my commitment to community and public life.
Together with my wife Jessica, I am raising three children—Jayden, Autumn, and Summer—in the neighborhoods where my family has lived for generations. As a Realtor for more than eight years, I have helped families achieve homeownership and build generational wealth. Beyond housing, I mentor young athletes through the Yeadon Education Athletic Association and serve as an ambassador for Cobbs Creek Park, ensuring our youth have safe spaces to grow and thrive.
As a proud graduate of Cheyney University, I carry forward the legacy of education, leadership, and service. I am running for Pennsylvania’s 8th Senate District to fight for housing justice, fair funding for schools, safer neighborhoods, and opportunities that uplift every family. My campaign is about empowering the future—together, we can build stronger, fairer communities.
